Firstly, we’re not slagging Pat Hickey. In fairness to the man, he is innocent until proven guilty so this article has nothing to do with his case.
But it has to do with Eamon Farrell, brother of Hollywood actor Colin Farrell.
Eamon is an openly gay man, and when he was a youngster, he was neighbours with Pat Hickey (and his family).
Eamon posted on Facebook the following message:
We’ll let his status tell the rest of the story below:
“When we were kids The Hickeys were neighbours and the kids were in St Brigids in Castleknock with my sisters and brother.. Pat Hickey used to refer to me, to my face, as Colin’s queer brother.. always such a charmer!! And now I would like to return the favor with this age old piece of advice for Mr Hickey.. Don’t drop the soap ;)”
