The results of sixty five patients who underwent a colonoscopy procedure at St Columcille’s Hospital in Dublin are under scrutiny, after concerns were raised about the validity of the diagnoses.
It is understood that a member of staff said that a doctor who no longer works at the facility may have not completed the procedures properly.
Sixty five patients have been called back to have another colonoscopy done.
