Luas trams will once again remain idle at their depots tomorrow, Wednesday, as drivers strike again.
The Luas operator, Transdev, began docking 10% of drivers’ pay as of Friday in response to the ongoing strike action. With no further talks planned for the immediate future, the situation is likely to remain deadlocked for some time.
Apart from tomorrow’s strike, the Luas will also not run on Friday, May 13th, Friday, May 20th, Thursday, May 26th (four hours from 3pm–7pm) and Friday, May 27th.
