The RTÉ Sports Awards have named Conor McGregor as the RTÉ Sportsperson of the Year.
McGregor has been on top all year, and is the first man in the history of the UFC to hold two titles at different weights.
McGregor defeated Eddie Alvarez in November to claim the UFC lightweight championship, adding it to his featherweight title.
The Sportsperson of the Year award was voted for by the public online and by text, and McGregor beat 11 other nominees, including Carl Frampton and Daryl Horgan to win.
