Plenty tricolor flags are expected to fly in Boston later tonight when Dubliner Conor McGregor, 26, fights fellow featherweight kickboxer Dennis Siver, 36.
McGregor’s sights are firmly set on the UFC title, but Siver, a well-seasoned fighter, stands in his way. The odds seem to be in favor of the Irishman, however, and the man himself believes he can dispatch the German-Russian Siver in about two minutes.Â
Though such outcome remains to be seen, McGregor certainly packs a powerful punch. Despite having fought only four bouts within the UFC confines, he won three of those fights by knockout, and the fourth by unanimous decision.
Fight starts at 3am, and will be broadcast by BT Sports.
