The man of the match last night, Robbie Brady declared he was lost for words when he was interviewed last night by Tony O’Donoghue.
Scoring the miraculous goal with just 6 minutes to go, Brady managed to hit the centre of Italian net after a lovely pass was sent his way from Wes Hoolahan.
He subsequently celebrated with his teammates in front of the Irish crowd.
When the last whistle finally blew, Brady ran over to his family and hugged and kissed them in an emotional moment that has already been sent around the world.
He thanked his family and friends for all their support and along with the team, is looking optimistic towards Sunday’s clash with hosts, France.
