The Fleadh Cheoil Na hEireann really got going from the get-go. There was no lead-in as such, just straight down to fun, music, craic and plenty of sore heads each morning!
Legendary Dublin band Aslan were on hand over the whole week playing two different venues, including headlining last night, but it was their impromptu version of “Crazy World” at the Tholsel around 8pm that people are talking about the most.
The TG4 presenters nabbed Christy and the boys and they burst into song with one of the Liberal team managing to catch the last 3 seconds on video. Super stuff from this year’s Fleadh!
