A newly married woman is facing the prospect of life in prison for stabbing her newly-wed husband after he called out the name of his ex-wife during a lovemaking session. It is understood that Mrs Svetlana Ilvina had waited until husband Anatoly had gone to sleep before stabbing him repeatedly in the chest, she then later called the police to confess to the crime.
According to reports in Russia Mrs Svetlana Ilvina, aged 45, was extremely outraged at her husbands outburst during the passionate encounter she went onto have a blazing row with her new husband Anatoly aged 47, but refused to accept his apology. Mrs Ilvina was apparently so outraged she deliberately waited until Mr Ilvina had fallen asleep to stab him repeatedly in the chest at their home in central Russia. Mrs Ilvina then called the police to confess to the brutal attack.
A Russian police spokesman said: “The couple had only been together three months and when the victim called his wife Olga, which is the name of his former wife, she decided she couldn’t forgive him.”
