A cyclist in her 40s is in a critical condition in hospital, after she lost control of her bike due to a pot hole.
The incident happened at Gurteen Cross Roads, Bandon.
The cyclist sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Cork University, where her condition is thought to be critical.
