The protest, which took place this evening, was to raise awareness about cyclists and receive more funds for Ireland’s cycling infrastructure.
The idea came about after the tragic death of a 30-year-old woman who was killed after being hit by a lorry in North Dublin, while cycling to work.
Green Party Leader, Eamon Ryan took part in the protest which was organised by the Dublin Cycling Campaign.
Campaigners have called on Transport Minister, Shane Ross, to look at cycling and consider the economic advantages of cycling.
