According to reports the Irish Defence Forces have detained a fishing vessel in the Irish Sea last night.
The unidentified vessel was detained after Navy vessel Le Orla spotted the trawler whilst it was on a routine fisheries protection patrol. It is understood that the vessel had a crew of approximately 6 people on board before it was seized and taken to Howth Harbour.
Gardaí say an investigation is currently ongoing.
