Irish Rail users are experiencing up to 45 minute delays this evening due to a signal cable fault on the line at Monasterevin.

Services between Dublin and Portlaoise are currently terminating at Newbridge, and customers are been ferried to their destinations via Intercity bus services.

There are also delays reported on Dart services between Pearse Street and Drogheda, due to a mechanical fault.
