Flight schedules at Dublin Airport have been disrupted throughout the evening due to dense fog banks drifting around the airport grounds.
It is understood that five flights had to be diverted to Cork and Belfast airports due to poor visibility.
The diverted flights will return to Dublin at the earliest opportunity.
