Department of Foreign Affairs confirm they are in liason with Canadian police after 26 year old Irishman reportedly drowned in British Columbia 




The Department​ of Foreign Affairs has confirmed they are currently in liason with Canadian police after a search operation was ordered after an Irishman reportedly drowned when he drove from a bridge over Beaver Creek in British Colombia last Friday.

Police authorities say an Underwater Recovery Team is currently searching for the 26 year old man. They also say they have been in contact with the man’s family and friends.

Meanwhile The Department of Foreign Affairs says they have offered counseling assistance to the man’s family.
