Dermot Morgan, who rose to legendary fame through the part of Father Ted Crilly in the iconic and beloved TV comedy Father Ted, passed away 20 years ago today.
Morgan had just completed filming the last series of Father Ted when he passed away suddenly at his London home, at the age of 45.
Born in Dublin, Morgan first became known in the comedy circles as part of RTE’s shows ‘The Live Mike’ and ‘Scrap Saturday’.
Tributes have been pouring in for the legendary actor.
