There has been online outrage after a horse was found dead on a street in Cork.
It’s understood that gardaí at Mayfield were called to Hawthron Mews on Dublin Hill at 5pm yesterday afternoon where they found the dead horse on a road in the estate.
Tragically, it’s believed the horse was involved in sulky racing and was quite literally raced to death and left on the street to die from exhaustion.
The ISPCA have been joined by numerous agencies in condemning the atrocious, horrible, senseless and avoidable death of the poor animal.
