In a truly horrific set of circumstances, an 88-yr-old man is fighting for his life after burglars turned vicious and beat the man senseless.
The despicable incident happened in the Shillelagh area of Wicklow at around 9pm on Wednesday night.
Gardai have confirmed the man’s condition is extremely serious as a result of the beating.
Gardai are seeking 3 individuals involved in the robbery. The thugs only managed to get a little sum of money from the pensioner.
