Disgraceful: Apple refuse to unlock teenager cancer victim’s iPad for his family which contain his dying wishes

18-yr-old Liam Wright from Middlesborough, UK, died of bone cancer in December. Details have emerged that he had his dying wishes, including his funeral arrangements, stored on his iPad but after he died a routine update meant his family were locked out of the device.

They contacted Apple and explained the situation but disgracefully the tech giant refused to unlock the device.

This meant Liam’s funeral requests were not available to the family before they laid him to rest, but they still desperately want to unlock the iPad to see his photos and videos.

Two days before he died Liam is said to have been too sick to tell his family what the password was for the iPad.

Now they family are possibly looking at a court action to push through on Apple unlocking the device.
