Focus Ireland has given a very stark warning to the government that sees the homelessness crisis at an all time low.
Their figures show the number of 18 to 24-year-olds who are homeless in 2017 has shot up by a massive 78% in the past three years.
There’s now a total of 776 young people homeless and seeking emergency accomondation on a daily basis for the week of February 20th – February 26th, 2017.
The terribly sad statistics now show that young people aged between 18 and 24 years of age make up more than 10% of the overall homeless number in Ireland which stands currently at a record of 7,421.
