The Afghan migrant who admitted to raping and murdering the teenage daughter of an EU official has claimed that he is the real victim, as his life has been destroyed.
Maria Ladenburger, who was 19 at the time and studying at University in Frieburg, was assaulted by Hussein Khavari who proceeded to rape and drown her before fleeing.
Khavari has claimed he was 17 but was later discovered to be 19 and is thus being tried as an adult. Germany admitted 1.1 million migrants in 2015 alone, mostly from the Middle East and North Africa. Some German police have alleged political pressure to cover up statistics relating to Migrant violent crime.
