It’s understood that over 200 women affected by the atrocious cervical check scandal have been offered the small sum of €2,000.
The impact on their lives is said to have been absolutely horrific with many women said to have fallen into a deep depression as a result of the scandal.
31-yr-old Minister for Health Simon Harris has been berated from all corners for his handling of the issue. The women have now been offered €2,000 each with many calling it nothing more than an “insult”.
