Divers recovered a body today in the search for a missing Kerry man.

The man in his 50s was missing since yesterday when his boat capsized off the coast of Kerry.

The Coast Guard has confirmed that the search which resumed this morning in Kenmare Bay, is now over after the recovery of the body.

Two men were on the boat when it overturned yesterday afternoon, but one was fortunately rescued after swimming ashore to a nearby island.

It is understood the missing man was a father of three and is believed to be in his 50’s.

Castletownbere lifeboat, the Irish Coast Guard helicopter and Kerry Fire Service are involved in the search.
