Do anything, Minister Coveney: Thousands of students to hand over petition to resolve homeless crisis

homeless

Thousands of students from secondary schools across Waterford and Cork are set to hand over a petition to Minister Simon Coveney to do anything to resolve the homelessness crisis.

The petition will put pressure on Mr. Coveney to ramp up his efforts in resolving the crisis, which so far have achieved very little, if anything.

The unwillingness of the political establishment to upset the status quo denies any real chance of resolute action to be taken, however, as most TDs are landlords themselves, as exposed in a recent article here.

Nevertheless, the students’ action is commendable, and will go to some length to denounce the current shame inflicted by the Government and its cronies.
