The surgical procedure was carried out to rearrange her breathing tube. Doctors have explained that it was necessary to do it because a breathing tube fitted in the same place for a long time can cause infection.
The only daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobbi Brown remains in a coma since she was found face down on a bathtub at her home in Roswell, Georgia, on January 31 last.
There has been no change in her condition since then, and the procedure just done on her does not indicate any change one way or the other.
