The Minister for Public Expenditure Paschal Donohoe has said the current ‘underdog Government’ has performed considerably well in the past year despite the current constraints against them.
Mr Donohoe who was speaking this morning said the minority Government which was to ride this day last year, had a number of significant achievements over the past year.
Minister Donohoe also said he and his fellow Fine Gael colleagues hope to continue their current good work and implement further changes that will benefit the Irish people.
Speaking outside the Dail this morning Mr Donohoe said the following: “We’re an underdog Government.”
“We are operating in a minority situation now, for the first time in many years here in Ireland.”
“I believe we have delivered significant achievements, but I, like all my cabinet colleagues, are always impatient and determined to see how we can achieve more across the year.”
