Ireland and the UK has been hit with a barrage of snow and wintery conditions over the past week which has left most of us enjoying the winter wonderland and dreaming of a White Christmas.
Although forecasters say the weather is expected to be a little bit milder in the coming weeks, the recent snowfall hasn’t dampened the bookmakers ambitions of a white Christmas after they slashed their odds this week.
The prospect of a first winter wonderland on Christmas morning since 2010 has been become more favorable with the current weather conditions and therefore bookmakers across the country have slashed their odds to as little as 3/1.
The favourable odds which will surely been seen as an easy bet by many has apparently seen a flurry of bets already with some of the Irish public feeling that the current weather conditions will hold out until December 25th.
