A German teenager has been left rather annoyed and red faced after he lost his driving licence in less than an hour after passing his test.
The bizare incident which occurred in the town of Hemer, saw the 18-year-old lose his licence after police pulled him over 49 minutes after leaving the test centre.
It is understood the teenager who was travelling with four other male occupants following his test had his licence revoked after police caught him driving 95km/h in a 50km/h zone.
Following the incident German police couldn’t help but poke fun at the teenagers recklessness by posting the following message: “Some things last for ever – others not for an hour.”
It is understood that the teenager has been banned for four weeks and has recieved a €200 fine.
However police have warned that the teenager will have a tough time getting his licence back as he will have to undertake “expensive retraining”.
