Drogheda woman finds love and marries the ghost of a 300 yr-old pirate

A Co Louth woman has become a viral hit this week after she married the spirit of a 300 year old Haitian pirate named Jack.

The woman Amanda Teague, whose story has become global news, from Drogheda Co Louth has revealed she has finally found her soul mate.

In an interview with TV3’s Ireland AM programme Amanda, who is a mother of five, said that she decided to marry her soul mate after she made an instant connection with his spirit.

Amanda who now lives in Downpatrick, said she first met her new husband Jack back in 2014.

The Jack Sparrow impersonator also said that she and Jack have a normal relationship and that her feelings grew stronger for him as they developed a deeper connection.

Amanda also revealed that she decided to marry Jack after he told her they could be together.

Happy that she has found someone she can connect with and love, Amanda said she decided to make it official by marrying Jack in front of her family and friends on board a boat in the Irish Sea.

A delighted Amanda added that she and Jack are stronger than ever.
