Dublin City Fire Brigade have called for more people to learn first aid in 2017.
It follows the quick-acting of a passerby in Dublin’s Marlay Park who performed CPR on a jogger, who collapsed on Stephens’ Day morning.
The passerby also alerted emergency services and paramedics followed with a defibrillator on the jogger.
The jogger is now recovering in hospital following the suspected heart attack.
