A young Dublin girl has beaten off stiff competition to win Google’s most coveted prize, Doodle 4 Google.
The young Dublin native Erica Redmond aged 6, won after her drawing of a robot impressed judges.
The Scoil Carmel in Firhouse student, came out on top in the overall competition which had over 4,000 entrants.

Erica’s drawing will now feature in Google’s Doodle this Friday and as a result of achievement her school will receive €10,000 grant to spend on technology.
