Dundalk Terror: Muslim migrant 18-yr-old Mohamed Morei’s case is back in court today

Mohamed Morei was due to face his second hearing at Cloverhill District Court two weeks ago but according to RTE News, when the case was called Judge Victor Blake was informed that he was not able to attend the hearing because he wasn’t fit to attend court.

It’s understood that Morei’s legal team told the court he was not fit to be there and that he was receiving medical treatment in the Central Mental Hospital – on the back of the taxpayer.

The 18-yr-old muslim migrant went on the rampage in Dundalk in the first week of the year. He stabbed 24-year-old Yosuke Sasaki to death on the Avenue Road in Dundalk as the Japanese man was listening to music on his headphones as he made his way to work on a cold winter’s morning.

The Judge remanded Morei in custody in his absence and adjourned the case until today when the case will be listed for mention. The Judge also asked for an updated letter from the doctor and his team on the condition on Morei at this time.

It’s understood however that his legal team will tell the court that Morei is still “unfit to attend court” and is still receiving taxpayer-funded medical treatment in the Central Mental Hospital.
