It’s true – Ireland will be one of the hottest places in Europe this weekend.
This week will be warm but cloudly, but it will lead into broken sunshine at the weekend and temperatures hitting the high end of the teens.
Met Eireann say temperatures across the country will see highs of 18c with sun blasting its way through the clouds.
We’ll be hotter than Paris, Rome, Turkey and the UK as their temperatures remain in the mid teens.
