Ed Sheeran fans urged not to buy second hand tickets after reports of bogus tickets being sold online




Fans of singer Ed Sheeran have been about a number of bogus websites and posts claiming to sell tickets for the singers upcoming concerts at the 3Arena.

The public announcement comes ahead of Sheeran’s two sold out gigs at the venue on the 12th and 13th of April.

In a brief statement, Aiken promotions released a urged fans not to buy second hand tickets, saying: “Purchasing from these sites or secondary sellers can result in huge financial loss and disappointment for fans who could potentially arrive at the venue having been sold counterfeit tickets, only to be refused entry without recourse.”

The announcement comes after recent reports found that tickets for the shows were selling for up to €1000 for the sole out concerts next week.
