Education Minister Bruton confirms there will be 430 new resource teachers introduced to Irish schools to assist children with special needs




The Minister for Education Richard Bruton has confirmed that there will be an extra 430 resource teachers introduced into the Irish school system to work with children who have special needs.

The welcome announcement will now mean there will be 7,429 resource teachers working in Irish schools.

It is understood the new positions will provide much needed support to over 47,000 pupils.
