One of the country’s biggest mobile phone providers Eir has issued an apology to its customers this afternoon after an outage was reported this morning.
In a brief announcement on their website Eir said the cause of the problem which affected customers has been resolved.
The announcement comes after a number of customers complained earlier today that they were unable to make phone calls.
In the announcement the company confirmed that the issue had been fixed before they thanked customers for their patience and apologised for the inconvenience.
