Gardaí in Co Meath have sadly confirmed that a man has died following at a potato farm in Stamullen.
It is understood the man aged in his 70s, was quickly rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda after he fell from a teleporter at approximately 3:30pm on Friday afternoon.
However shortly after arriving at the hospital, the man was sadly pronounced dead.
Gardai say the Health and Safety Authority have launched an investigation.
