This incident occurred in Ballinderry outside of Enfield.
The man’s body was discovered in a ditch at 9.30 pm last night after the man did not return home.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident and the body has been taken to Our Lady’s Hospital in Navan.
It is said that the accident occurred while the man was out farming while using a quad bike as a method of transport.
An examination is being carried out at the scene and the Health and Safety Authority have been informed.
