The tragic trend of road deaths continues today, after an 85-year-old man died in a collision near Phoenix Park in Dublin.
The incident happened on Conyngham Road at around 11:30am on Monday morning.
The elderly man was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. The driver of the other car involved in the collision was not seriously injured.
