A female pedestrian in her 70s has died following a collision with a truck in Co. Monaghan.
The incident happened on Main Street in Carrickmacross, just after noon today.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene, and her body was removed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
