Elderly WWII veteran aged 98, sadly passes away in hospital after he is attacked in his own home by ruthless thugs




Police in the UK have sadly confirmed that a 98-year-old WWII veteran has died in hospital four weeks after he was attacked in his home by burglars.

The man Peter Gouldstone, from Evesham Road, Enfield, north London, sadly passed away in hospital due to the extent of his injuries this past weekend.

According to reports in the UK, Mr Gouldstone was left critically injured and left with two bleeds to the brain following the sickening attack on November 5th.

The World War II veteran who was found in a semi-conscious by his son Simon Gouldstone, was the victim of a home robbery that saw a number the heartless thieves steal a number of items including a black Panasonic TV.

Police say Mr Gouldstone suffered a number of severe injuries in the attack which ultimately led to his death.

They have also confirmed that a £10,000 reward is in offer to anyone who can provide any information that can lead to arrest and conviction of those responsible.
