Electronics company Hotpoint have called on the Irish public who own the same model of fridge freezer that started the Grenfell tower block fire.
The company who have said they are aware of the incident released an online statement calling on the public to check their appliance thar were manufactured between March 2006 and July 2009.
Hotpoint say the fridge freezers with the following model and serial numbers – FF175BP (white) or FF175BG (graphite) are considered to be faulty.
The statement reads as follows: : “Please check your model and serial number, usually located on a sticker behind the salad container, Or look for the model data label below on your appliance.”
Anyone who may own one of the above models are urged to contact Hotpoint immediately.
