Email campaign underway to stop Ibrahim Halawa being allowed to return to Ireland

The Liberal has learned that the Egyptian Embassy is being inundated with emails from concerned members of the general public demanding that they keep Ibrahim Halawa in jail in Egypt following any conviction that he might receive.

Halawa was jailed after being arrested for his involvement in the Muslim Brotherhood protest in Cairo in August 2013.

In an unusual grassroots move, completely alien to the government line and political correct media organisations in Ireland, including Amnesty International, members of the general public have taken the lead in making sure that Ireland is safe from any form of Islamic terror be it sympathisers or supporters.

One of our readers, John Fogarty said the government doesn’t speak for him with their support for Halawa by spending any amount of hard-earned taxpayer money on his return to Ireland.

Sisters of Halawa are said to be absolutely devastated that he’s still in Egypt for his involvement in the Muslim Brotherhood but it is a sense of a devastation that could never be on a par with that felt by the parents of little Christian children beheaded by the Muslim Brotherhood in the Middle East.

If you’d like to join the email campaign, you can do so by emailing the Egyptian Embassy’s email address [email protected]
