There was some good news for one lucky punter tonight as they managed to scoop the top prize of €250,000 in the Lotto Plus 2 draw.
The end of February win comes as there were no winners of the main jackpot worth €2m.
The winning numbers in the plus 2 were: 7, 11, 26, 29, 32, 41, with the bonus number being 36.
It is not yet known where the winning ticket was bought, but the National Lottery say it was purchased in the Dublin region.
Meanwhile the numbers for the main jackpot draw were: 1, 10, 30, 31, 42, 47, with the bonus number being 25.
Although there were no winners the national lottery two players won €60,174 each after matching 5+ the bonus.
