Enda Kenny met a disabled man outside the Dail today and handed him a cup of coffee. The man was protesting at the potential cuts to the disabled in the upcoming budget. He also protested at the cuts already implemented by the government.
The Taoiseach took the opportunity to give the man a cup of coffee and told him that he wanted the man involved in the government’s decision making. He wants to know where money is being wasted and where it can be saved.
Many disabled people are doing a 72-hour protest on Kildare St and outside Government buildings to protest the cuts and potential cuts.
