Enda Kenny has been named the Irish European of the Year for steering Ireland out of a recession by himself

Not only will Enda Kenny be given €328,000 when he finally leaves the Dail this summer, he’ll get a pension of €126,000 a year for the rest of his life.

But that’s not all – not by a long shot.

The European Movement Ireland announced that Enda Kenny has been given the prestigious honour of being named Irish European of the year.

It’s understood that Kenny will be given the award at a special EU event on Monday and that he was given the prestigious honour for his efforts in guiding Ireland out of the recession by himself.
