The past 72 hours have been largely dry and bright, with temperatures reaching 23C in places.
But all good things must come to an end, as they say, and the Irish weather is no exception.
Weather conditions are expected to change siginificantly tomorrow, Tuesday, as temperatures drop to about 13-15C. The rain will stay away tomorrow at least, only to put an appearance on Wednesday and Thursday, with the thermometer sinking even further.
Friday is likely to be a rather wet and windy day as an Atlantic weather front moves in.
