There was some good news announced for transgender people recently as Girl Guides Ireland confirmed they will happily accept transgender girls joining their organisation.
The group to overwhelmingly decided to make a number of changes to the their policy recently and have declared that anyone who lives their life as a female will be allowed to join from now on.
The organisation say decision comes after a review of Girl Guides Canada recent changes which have been more than successful.
