Some tenants in Limerick city have been threatened with eviction if they fail to pay the water charges.
The tenants residing in the Shannon Arms building in Henry St., Limerick city, have received written notification from their management company that, should they fail to register with Irish Water and pay the water charges, they will face eviction.
Anti-austerity Alliance councilor Loftus, who lives close to the Shannon Arms building, has criticized the move by the management company, accusing them of a ‘return to Victorian times.’
