A survey made by Airports Council International (ACI) has placed Dublin Airport on the first place in relation of the quality of passenger service. It was running against 14 other airports of similar size (handling between 15 to 25 million passengers a year) in the “Best Airport by Region in Europe”.
It’s worth noting that only a few years ago, the airport was ranked at the bottom of the list by a similar survey from the same organization.
“Since then we were determined to improve our customers’ experience of the airport and we have done that every year to get to this top spot,” said Vincent Harrison, Managing Director.
The survey consisted in asking passengers’ opinions on their “travel experience” a few times a year. Then the results gathered at different airports are compared.
“Dublin Airport’s number one ranking in Europe demonstrates its professionalism, commitment and success in delivering that high level of customer service”, commented Angela Gittens, Director General of ACI World.
