Fair play: Thousands of people took part in Dublin and Cork marathons yesterday




There were thousands of people running on the streets of both Dublin and Cork yesterday as two marathon events took place to raise charity.

30,000 people took part in Dublin for the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon while close to 10,000 ran in Cork for the Cork City Marathon.

Conditions were warm, dry and cloudy conditions in both cities today with everyone enjoying themselves as people cheered them on.

Thousands of euro were raised for various charities. Did you take part? Congrats to all who did!
